The Light Bulb Moment
Yesterday I went to a meeting and realized that there were people there that still didn’t understand what I do. How many times have you been in a meeting or workshop and knew a person, but really don’t know what they do. You are missing out on help, information, or a contact you can use in the future because you don’t really understand what they do.
While there I had a LIGHT BULB MOMENT! I realized that these people really don’t understand what I do as a Coach. Well, if they don’t, then how would others who could use my help know?
I am a Certified Life and Strategies Coach, Certified Food Psychology Coach and a EFT Practitioner. Some “Coaches” are not certified. Anyone can call themselves a coach, but few are trained to be a coach. Please think about this before you make any choice for using a coach.
3 1/2 years ago I weighted way over 425 lbs. 183 lbs later I want to help people to understand that food is not COMFORT, LOVE, PROTECTION, A STRESS RELIEVER and a replacement for SEX. I want to reach the people that still believe this way. I was that person and understand what you are going through.
I am far from where I should weigh, but I am a work in progress. I didn’t put it on overnight and it is not going to come off over night. Yes, there are the “quick fix” ways, surgery, pills, and so called diets. So far I have found the majority of people who do those things gain the weight back either all, some of it, or even more. You ask why or believe I’m wrong. Well, most of the people haven’t figured out why they were eating.
This is where coaching comes in.

- Getting to enjoy who you are
- Letting go of “old head talk”
- Staying on track
- Being grateful
- And so much more
This is just a brief summary of what I do. Now you know what a Certified Life & Strategies Coach, Food Psychology Coach does to help their client.
This is not a quick process, but it is a lifelong change for the better.
